American Yellowwood /Cladrastis Kentukea (Syn. Cl. Lutea)/ 

Apple tree sized; blooms in May in gorgeous 20-30 cm long chains of white flowers. In autumn the leaves turn yellow. Wood yellow. Winter hardy in the whole territory of Latvia.
