In spring it blooms last from all deciduous trees. Leaves 20-30 cm long and 15-20 cm wide, flowers 3-6 cm long, white with yellow stripes and pink spots inside. Seed pods brown, 20-30 cm long, remain in the tree in winter. Brilliantly decorative tree.
