Barberry is a summer green, prickly shrub with a compact, flat round crown. In summer the leaves are dark purple, in autumn they turn pink. Flowers yellow, bloom in May. Fruits bright red, shiny. Tolerates trimming well. Grows well in any soil. Cold resistant. Very suitable for low hedges, distance between plants 0.3 - 0.8 m.
